NEW A-50 WIRE ROPE MOUNT FOR SHOCK AND VIBRATION ISOLATION

AMC-MECANOCAUCHO has developed a new wire rope mount that adds to the existing range of wire rope anti vibration mounts.

The new A-50 is wire rope is a shock and anti vibration mount for load range up to 35Kg in compression. Their stiffness is regressive following the graphic below.

When the wire rope mount works in tension their stiffness is progressive following the stiffness below.

The A-50 wire rope mount for shock and vibration isolation is made of stainless steel and Aluminium fixation metal parts.

This mount when submitted to tension and compression forces, the wire rope cables friction providing an energetic dissipation to the suspended element. As shown on the graph below.

This energetic dissipation allows isolated element that are stable and correctly damped after a transient shock.

Due to these properties these mounts are appropriate for applications where a high degree of isolation is required on mobile or static applications. Their anti-corrosive properties allow these mounts to be applied in marine environments. Their thermostability provides no alteration of their stiffness across from -50ºC to 300ºC.

Due to the above properties these mounts are well adapted to applications such as; Embarked sensible electronic equipment, computers, exhaust systems, or vibrating machinery in extreme conditions.
